Important Information about PhD Positions at KTH
- Employment: In Sweden, a PhD position is generally a full-time employment (usually 4 years of studies) with a monthly salary, not a scholarship or studentship.
- How to Apply: To become a doctoral student, you must apply for a vacant position and pass the competitive selection process. You cannot apply for doctoral studies in general without a specific advertised position.
